The tour begins at the desired time and meeting point on board of a private car with driver and specialized guide to visit Montserrat, the most important mountain in Catalonia, which hosts the Benedictine sanctuary and monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat. The whole monastery is divided in two blocks of buildings with different functions: on one hand the basilica, which hosts the Virgin of Montserrat, popularly known as La Moreneta; and on the other the buildings designed to assist pilgrims and visitors. Some days, the Escolania de Montserrat, which is one of the oldest children choirs in Europe, sings in the monastery. The entry to the museum is optional. In the way out, an amazing view of the rocks that have been modified for centuries by the wind and rain into strange and varied forms can be enjoyed. After this visit, transfer to one of the most famous vineyards of Catalonia to know the ancient tradition of winemaking in the Penedès region. The story of Bodegas Torres will be told in a video. Then comes a multisensory experience with smells, images and sounds inside a tunnel before hopping into a train to see the vineyards, where crops and winemaking will be explained.
