Departure from Lisbon heading for the impressive and romantic Pena Palace (Palácio da Pena), located in one of the highest points in Natural Park of Sintra’s Sierra. This palace is characterized by the mixed of styles, that give to it a distinctive aspect. By midday you will have some spare time to stroll along the streets of Villa de Sintra, place that besotted kings and inspired poets. Enjoy its varied artesian stores, tea shops and taste the local famous cakes: cheese cake (queijadas) and almond cake (travesseiros). If you wish, you will also have some time to have lunch while admiring the radiant view from the mountain. Afterwards we will go to Cabo de la Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. To finish the afternoon, we will walk around the beach of Guincho, frequented by windsurfers, and Boca do Inferno, enjoying a walk along the coast. The visit continues to the cosmopolitan villa of Cascais, where we can enjoy a wonderful view over the bay. Return to Lisbon following the Estoril coast where we can visit the Casino and its gardens.
