On the right side of the Onyar river is the Barri Vell and on the left side it’s the Mercadal, that’s why the bridges have played an important role in the development of the city and will be crossed as the guide explains the history of this city, where a lot of cultures have settled in: the Iberic, the Greek, the Roman, the Frank, the Arab, the Jew and the Christian. During the tour, a long stairway will be climbed to reach the Cathedral to finish with a nice walk through the famous Jewish Quarter. Afterwards, the driver will take the group to the Dalí Museum in Figueres, an agricultural village where Salvador Dalí was born; there can be admired many masterpieces that the great artist created specifically for this theatre-museum.
